Amendments to the Exchange Control Rulings

Authorised Dealers are referred to Exchange Control Circular No. 10/2011 and are advised that the reference to “SARS Customs export declaration form” in the below mentioned sections of the Exchange Control Rulings have been amended to read “SARS Customs Declaration”:

  • Section B.18(A)(i)
  • Section B.18(E)
  • Section B.18(F)
  • Section B.20(H)(i)
  • Section B.20(I)(ii)
  • Section B.20(K)
  • Section B.20(L)
  • Section C.(A)(iv)
  • Sections C.(F)(i) and (ii)
  • Section I.2(A)(i)(a)

Authorised Dealers are, furthermore, advised of the following amendments to the Exchange Control Rulings:

Section B.18(A)

The heading has been deleted and substituted with the following:

“EXPORT DECLARATIONS”

Section B.18(A)(i)

The reference to “CMA” has been deleted and substituted with the word “Republic”.

Replacement pages of the Exchange Control Rulings incorporating the relevant amendments are attached hereto.
