Amendment of the name of Shoprite Money Transfers (Pty) Limited to Shoprite Money Transfers (Pty) Limited trading as ShopriteSend

Shoprite Money Transfers (Pty) Limited has adopted a new trading name, ShopriteSend, with effect from February 2023.

In view of the above, the name of Shoprite Money Transfers (Pty) Limited has been amended to Shoprite Money Transfers (Pty) Limited trading as ShopriteSend in sections A.2(A) and A.2(B) of the Currency and Exchanges Manual for Authorised Dealers in foreign exchange with limited authority and Currency and Exchanges Manual for Authorised Dealers (Manuals), respectively, as well as in the guideline documents for business entities and individuals (guideline documents).

The amended Authorised Dealer Manual and guideline documents may be accessed on the South African Reserve Bank website, www.resbank.co.za by following the path: Home > What we do > Financial Surveillance > Financial Surveillance documents.
